Railroad trestle in snow - White Mountains, New Hampshire

This railroad trestle bridge in the White Mountains made its viral mark on social media during the fall foliage season in 2016. However, knowing the winter would afford a unique view of the scene, I waited for a fresh layer of heavy snow to visit and photograph it. Because of the deep rust color of the structure, I decided to create a nearly-monochrome image instead of a true black and white. New Hampshire is full of railroads and trestles, and they make a great subject during any season.
