Waterfall on the Falling Waters Trail - White Mountains, New Hampshire

Upon finding such an unexpected scene of yellow-orange rock carved and shaped by the continuous stream of this waterfall, I decided to compose a scene to focus on the strong flowing brook rather than on the waterfall itself. Captivated by the stream, I put myself on the water's edge to include as much movement as possible. This was just one of the many interesting sights along the Fall Waters Trail, which is quite appropriately named.
