On a cold and windy winter day, I ventured down to Cape Cod with the intention of photographing this scene. The daytime clouds were abundant and moving at the perfect speed, and the late afternoon sun cast some dynamic light onto the rows of pilings. It was a slightly difficult scene to execute perfectly, especially since gusts of wind coming from every direction were strong enough to shake the camera. I did my best with an umbrella to draft the wind, and made sure each frame of the panorama was sharp. At the end of the day, I was excited that all had gone well.
