Afternoon light during the Sugar Hill Lupine Festival - White Mountains, New Hampshire

During a visit to Sugar Hill, New Hampshire for the lupine festival, I encountered this meadow filled with different colored lupines. Having scouted various lupine locations throughout the White Mountains, I knew these flowers at peak bloom were the best collection I would find. The light wasn't ideal when I first arrived, so I waited for most of the day until the afternoon sun broke through some clouds illuminated the field.
